Programs

The program consists of six major academic curriculum areas:

Culture

Sense of identity in a diverse society. Geography, history, art, music, botany, zoology, physical science, geology, and astronomy.

Practical Life

Independence, concentration, coordination, small and large motor skills, and care of the self and environment.

Sensorial

Order and organization. Refinement of the five senses – seeing, hearing, touching, tasting, and smelling – building a foundation for speech, writing, and math. 

Language

Prewriting, sound/symbol relationship, writing, and reading. Learning to express through written and spoken language.

Mathematics

Patterning and categorization, quantity/symbol relationship, place value leading to addition, multiplication, and subtraction into the thousands.

 Movement

   Refine fine motor, gross motor, auditory discrimination, and self-expression skills.
